About Perseus
Reading is one of my favourite pastimes, along with writing. I am an aspiring Middle Grade author, writing mostly about Mythology & Fantasy. I am currently volunteering at Oxfam Books & Music, where I repair books of all types, genres, & ages, help to keep the shop floor engaging & enticing, & support customers to find books they may like based off other books they enjoyed reading. I believe every child can be a confident reader if they are given the time & space to explore different types of books, choose books they want to read or books about things they are interested in, and can read at their own pace!

I will provide in-person tutoring for Primary School children, aged 4 through to 12. Lessons will be adapted for each individual, including lesson format, length, & techniques used to support reading. I will encourage children to take an active part in selecting the books they would like to read, whether that be fiction, non-fiction, Graphic Novels, & more! I am a qualified Childcare Practitioner with experience working in Nursery & Pre-School settings.
