About Annika
Hi! I’m Annika, a native English speaker from New York.
I work in a school, where I spend my days supporting students and families, so I’m very patient and easy to talk to. I really enjoy helping people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
I love meeting people from different backgrounds and having real conversations. My goal is to make you feel relaxed and confident while practicing English.

My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and focused on real-life communication. I believe the best way to learn English is by actually using it, so my lessons are conversation-based and tailored to each student’s goals.
In a typical lesson, we will talk about everyday topics like work, travel, daily routines, or current events. I will gently correct your mistakes, help you improve your pronunciation, and introduce new vocabulary naturally during our conversation.
If you prefer more structure, I can also guide lessons focused on grammar, sentence building, or specific situations like job interviews or professional communication.
What sets me apart is my patience and my experience working in a school environment, where I support students and families every day. I understand that learning a new language can feel intimidating, so I create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can build confidence at your own pace.
