About Ayana

Hi there! I'm a native Japanese speaker living in Tokyo. I have a strongly warm, outgoing personality and love connecting with people from all over the world. While Japanese is my native language, I can also speak English, so beginners don't need to worry about communication barriers! In my lessons, I believe that "there is no stupid question." I always encourage my students never to be afraid of making mistakes, because every mistake is a step closer to success and real improvement. I am here to support you with patience and a welcoming smile. I enjoy an active lifestyle with hobbies like surfing, snowboarding, skiing, and golf. I am also a big fan of movies and enjoy watching anime. Whether you want to practice daily conversation, talk about sports, or explore Japanese culture, I am excited to help you learn with confidence in a friendly, supportive environment!

About the lesson

Welcome to my Japanese class! Whether you want to start from the basics or practice natural conversation, I am here to help you enjoy learning Japanese with confidence. Teaching Style & Methods My lessons are interactive, friendly, and tailored to your personal goals. I focus on practical communication so you can start speaking real-world Japanese right away. I create a supportive atmosphere where you can feel relaxed, ask questions, and make mistakes without worry. Typical Lesson Plan Warm-up (~10%): Casual chat to get comfortable speaking. Main Topic (~70%): Conversation practice, useful expressions, or grammar/vocabulary for real-life scenarios (travel, daily life, culture). Review & Feedback (~20%): Summary of key phrases learned and helpful tips for improvement. My Strengths Native Speaker: Learn natural pronunciation, nuance, and everyday phrasing that textbooks don't always teach. Patient & Welcoming: Great for beginners who might feel nervous about speaking Japanese for the first time. Cultural Context: Learn not just the language, but also interesting insights into Japanese lifestyle and culture. Who This Lesson Is For Beginners to intermediate learners of all ages. Anyone who wants to practice casual conversation, prepare for travel to Japan, or build confidence in daily Japanese skills. Let's have fun learning Japanese together! I look forward to meeting you in class.
