About María Alejandra
For more than 18 years, I have worked at private companies and academic institutions where I was responsible for the import and export departments. I have also taught English to adults and delivered special classes and lectures. My areas of expertise include SDGs, global competencies, emotional intelligence, poetry, and university teaching education.
I am passionate about intercultural competencies, global citizenship, poetry, yoga, sports, horses, and social and emotional learning. As an English language teacher, business administrator, university teacher, and yoga teacher, I enjoy delivering classes and talks that help participants raise awareness and learn skills that they can apply in their professional and personal lives. I have had the pleasure of speaking with professionals, teachers, and practitioners from the Middle East, Mexico, Argentina, and the US.
As a poetry lover, I believe that poetry cannot exist without love, and that a teacher should be committed to lifelong learning. I am passionate about travelling around the globe and learning about new cultures, languages, and customs.
