About Believe
I am a university student studying Social Work as I am an aspiring social worker with a passion for supporting children in the mental health and family sector. I am committed to maintaining professional standards and this has been evident during my work experience. During my work experience, I shadowed the Head of Children's Services for my borough which helped me with my professionalism, communication skills and the significance of putting children's needs first. Because of this, I feel inspired to create a positive and safe environment where children will feel safe to make errors and know that they should not feel shamed for mistakes. I aim to boost confidence in my students and support them in whatever way I can whilst still facilitating an entertaining and creative environment.

I offer engaging and supportive tutoring for children aged 5-16, adapting my teaching methods to suit each child's age and learning style. I have been working as a tutor for 5 months now and I am confident in working both one-to-one and in groups. My approach is patient and reassuring through making sure each child has a great understanding of the topic area and encouraging them to have resilience. My tutoring lessons ranged from 11-3 with a healthy break at 12pm to ensure that the young brains are well relaxed and do not experience burnout. I tutor GCSE English and the 11 plus exam and it has been a very satisfying sight to see the children develop and gain knowledge through my teaching methods.
