About Pragna
I’m a recent Data Science graduate with a deep passion for mathematics and education. My academic journey has provided me with a solid foundation in algebra, calculus, statistics, and more advanced topics like machine learning, which I am eager to share with others. Through my studies and freelance experience, I’ve developed a strong ability to break down complex ideas into simple, digestible steps, making me well-equipped to teach a range of students—from elementary school learners to those pursuing more advanced coursework. I believe in creating a personalized learning experience for each student, adapting my teaching to suit their individual needs and learning styles. In addition to my technical background, I’ve been involved in several educational projects and student organizations, allowing me to cultivate a strong communication and mentoring skill set. Outside of academics, I enjoy working on tech projects, including building data-driven solutions and analytics tools, which gives me a hands-on approach to teaching and problem-solving. I teach elementary math, algebra, calculus, and statistics remotely, using a mix of interactive tools and personalized learning approaches. My lessons are tailored to each student's pace and learning style, ensuring they grasp concepts effectively. I use digital whiteboards (Jamboard, OpenBoard) for live explanations, Desmos and GeoGebra for visualizing algebra and calculus, and Google Colab or Jupyter Notebook for coding-based statistics lessons. My sessions are engaging, with a mix of live instruction, pre-recorded videos, breakout room discussions, and interactive quizzes (Kahoot, Quizizz). I also provide structured digital assignments via Google Classroom or Notion, ensuring students have clear learning paths. Every student gets a personalized experience with adapted exercises, targeted feedback, and real-world applications to make math more intuitive and practical.
