About Alivia
I am a recent college graduate in the process of applying to medical school, and am excited to tutor so I can continue using my Spanish skills during my gap year. I was a Fulbright Teaching Assistant Semifinalist and have had plenty of experience teaching grades 1-10.

When learning a new language, connection matters. Whether that means associating new words to similar words in English or chatting about a new TV show or our favorite music to learn practical Spanish, focusing on connection makes the process a lot faster.
Lesson plans will look different depending on student needs, but I have a degree in both Spanish and Biology and can therefore approach learning from various angles if one method isn't working out.
I can help tutor students in high school or introductory college Spanish courses.
