About Reeya
A little bit about me is that I am an avid reader and writer and have been since I was a young girl. I have published a short-form story and poem, which led onto me becoming a writer for my school's newspaper. I also have received certificates in maths and sciences!
Outside of tuition, I love language learning, sports and teamwork building exercises, all which help contribute to my sessions. I'm also an older sister, so I have good experience with teaching my sibling core skills in maths and English!

Before regular tuition begins, I offer an initial session to assess your child's current level and identify areas for support. This is to allow your child to become more comfortable with me, before I begin any learning. I'll talk to you and your child and develop an action plan for future sessions. From this we can decide on the session length, as lessons typically last 30–50 minutes, depending on your child's age and ability. If you have a preference for a learning style, or subject (from maths and English) to be taught, I'm more than happy to oblige! My lessons include SPaG practice, mental maths activities, and reading support, but most importantly homework guidance. I do not however do maths and English on the same day, to avoid overloading your child with information. But I do use a sticker reward system to encourage motivation and celebrate progress!
