About Matt
I graduated from Imperial College London in 2018 with a First Class degree in Geology. I have experience teaching and giving academic advice to course mates and family members from the workings of a chemical reaction deep in the earth to where to apply to university. I have enthusiasm for all areas of science which is portrayed with my excellent method of stepping through a complex problem to help students grasp difficult concepts.

My teaching is predominantly one-to-one and student led. I teach chemistry, physics, geography and geology up to A Level and up to GCSE mathematics. Typically I ask the student to indicate a few days in advance what topics they would like tutoring about so I can prepare some lesson material including exam-style questions and worked solutions followed by some problem sets for the student to go away and practice.
