Past papers are a key part in my teaching at the later stages to get the student prepared for calling forth their knowledge under pressure. Before this, questions/workshops at the end of a lesson or every other lesson to allow for re-enforcement of the information learned. Out of lesson study is also essential, worksheets can be provided however a textbook for the students course would be advisable.
No professional experience. However I have frequently tutored a close friend with autism and learning difficulties. He has successfully achieved GCSEs in maths, chemistry, physics and biology and is currently studying A levels. In my third year at university I spent six weeks in a school observing lessons and leading workshops for students who were struggling with the scientific basics at GCSE. I crafted revision materials and workshop sheets for these students and edited the schools online quizzes to ensure they were correct and informative.
