I typically have taught young children, and so my methods are patient and slow. I prefer to teach within a conversation with the other person, talking with them as opposed to talking at them. I believe a soft, patient and understanding approach is the most effective way to achieve results.
I am an ex-student, recently graduated in a BSc Sports Therapy degree.
I have previous experience as a teaching assistant in middle school, in which I accompanied a year 5 tutor group to all classes, and assisted with reading comprehension.
I have also supervised a group of 13 early-years (ages 2-4) at a summer camp, where we again concentrated on reading comprehension and communication skills.
