About Georgie
I graduated with a 2:1 degree in Mathematics from the University of Surrey in 2019. I have been giving private lessons since 2013, when I tutored a GCSE student for two years, increasing his grade from C/D to a B grade.
During a Mathematics Education module in my final year of University, I worked at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford for 4 months, where I primarily worked as individual support to students in the class, as well as planning and conducting my own lesson plans.

Generally, I base my classes on the need of the student, working alongside the content they are currently learning in class, in order to facilitate their school work. I approach each topic by gathering an understanding of the student’s base knowledge of a subject, modelling what mathematical technique can be used and then reinforce the technique by answering lots of practice/past exam questions. My main objective is to boost their confidence in the subject and their belief to achieve their desired results.
