About Lewis
I have won a Jack Petchey award and participated in the Jack Petchey ‘Speak Out’ challenge. This shows my dedication and ability to teach. I am a first year college student and have achieved 203/240 in my maths gcse. For context, a passing grade (Grade 4) is approximately 50-60 marks, and the highest grade (grade 9) is usually around 200+ marks.
Away from academics, I am a theatre performer and both an army and police cadet. This means that whilst your child is in my care they will remain safe whilst learning new knowledge. They will also develop stronger confidence as I’ve studied psychological theatre techniques on how to improve confidence, which is a transferable skill to having confidence in their exams, which is important to have as most of the time a lack of confidence results in a lower grade, even if they know the knowledge.

My lessons don’t follow the usual structure of school, my lessons are usually 30 minutes long but that may change. We will start by answering a few questions about prior knowledge (whether that’s about a previous lesson, or something learnt in school) then we begin targeting weaker areas. My focus is strengthening knowledge they have already learnt, however if they’re ahead of the game then new Knowledge is always welcome
