About
I just finished year 13 at St Paul’s School, taking A-levels in maths, economics and music. I taught for 2 weeks in a school in Zambia after GCSEs and that motivated me to carry on teaching and helping kids learn. At university I am studying PPE, as over the last couple years I have developed a passion for both economics and politics, and philosophy seems like a fascinating area to study as well.

I like to teach with a calm, relaxed approach, putting as little pressure as possible on the students so that they can enjoy it as much as possible. I can go over anything you feel weak on for A-level economics by looking at past paper questions or by talking through a topic at a pace that suits you!

Josh and I were in the same year at school. When there was a sound design section in my Drama A-level, Josh helped explain musical theory concepts to me so that I could improve my ideas. He is very calm, a good listener, and gets on well with my younger brother so I know he is great with children.
Josh tutored me through my A-Level maths, and I genuinely don’t think I’d have got the grade I did without him. He has a real talent for teaching, he doesn’t just explain a method once and move on, he checks you actually understand the concept behind it, and finds a different way of explaining things if the first approach isn’t landing. He’s patient, clear, and makes even the trickiest topics feel manageable.
He was also brilliant with my younger brother, who was doing GCSE maths at the time. He adjusted his whole approach for a younger student at a different level, breaking things down simply without ever being condescending, and my brother came away far more confident with the subject.
Thanks to his help, I achieved an A* in maths. I’d recommend him without hesitation to any student, GCSE or A-Level , looking for a tutor who’s patient, adaptable, and genuinely invested in getting you results.View more recommendations
