About Marsha
Having worked in corporate business for over 15 years and recruited/managed my own team, I started to notice the lack quality in relation writing basic emails, letters etc in those applying. I realised that this came from a fear of English. As result, I wanted to train to be an English teacher so that I can help empower those younger people joining the workforce.
Having confidence in your English, will allow you to progress quicker in whatever role you decide to pursue. I do not teach just to get you through your exams - I teach because I want you to succeed in life.

I have high expectations of my students. I push my students, but in a positive and supportive manner allowing them to enjoy their successes, no matter how small.
Lesson lengths will be tailored depending on your need. Lesson are usually 60 minutes.
I have a 2:1 degree majoring in English Literature and a recent PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
I am able to teach Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4; however my specialism is in Key Stage 3 and bridging the gap, allowing students to have a more fulfilled secondary experience whilst at school.
