About Matt
I'm a reference librarian with 20 years in the field. I've taught homeschool students, English as a Second Language, alternative high school, robotics, carpentry, rock climbing, swimming and more. I've launched businesses for myself and others, learned multiple trades, flipped houses, and raised kids. Then, we use research principles and conduct a literature review to find what is already known about a the topic. Then we practice, or experiment, or build. We analyze and iterate. Then we explain it and teach it to others. And we write and rewrite. And we have a project that has satisfied our curiosity and demonstrated mastery of a small piece of knowledge.
