About Beverly
Twelve years of performance across youth symphony and regional chamber ensembles defined my perspective on string playing. Teaching involves constant attention to left hand agility and shifting positions for fluid movement across the fingerboard. Developing bowing technique remains the central pillar of my daily work with students.
Instruction covers sight reading and ear training to ensure students can navigate classical repertoire with confidence. We focus on rhythm and timing alongside the critical ability of tuning by ear. Many pupils struggle to master spiccato and staccato bowing patterns, yet these technical aspects are the foundation of my teaching style.
