About Erica
Graduating from Juilliard provided a rigorous foundation that shapes how I communicate musical ideas during my 7 years of teaching experience. Sitting in the violin section of the Seattle Symphony gives me a unique perspective on the demands of performance that I share with students ranging from 4-year-old beginners to college audition track high schoolers. My home studio in Chicago serves as a space where we explore spiccato and staccato bowing, precise intonation, classical repertoire, rhythm and timing, ear training, posture and hold, along with scales and arpeggios.
