About Clara
I am a committed and passionate Flute tutor with over 11 years of teaching experience. I teach School, College, and working professional students who want to learn flute for education, personal interest, or career development.
My tutoring method is clear, organised, and goal-oriented. I focus on correct breathing, posture, finger coordination, tone quality, and rhythm accuracy. I ensure students develop strong basics before moving to advanced skills.
In addition to flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, scale practice, ear training, and performance preparation. I also assist students with exam preparation and stage confidence.
One of my strengths is motivating students to stay disciplined and consistent. I provide clear guidance, regular feedback, and supportive encouragement. My goal is to help students grow musically with confidence.

My teaching methodology for flute is designed to make music learning simple, engaging, and effective through strong communication and creative instruction. I explain flute techniques clearly using simple words and demonstrations. I encourage students to ask questions and stay actively involved in lessons.
Creativity is added through creative warm-ups, rhythm activities, tone-building exercises, and expressive music practice. Lessons are planned flexibly and adjusted according to each student’s learning pace, ability, and goals.
Flute lessons focus on breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading, with attention to healthy playing habits. Along with flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and basic performance skills to support overall musical development.
