About Louis
I am a committed Saxophone tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a strong track record of successfully guiding around 150 students. I teach students from beginner to advanced levels, helping them develop both technical skills and musical confidence.
My teaching approach focuses on building a solid foundation. I start with posture alignment, breath control, embouchure development, and tone clarity. Once students gain comfort, I introduce scale practice, rhythm exercises, articulation techniques, and music theory concepts. I believe that understanding theory makes performance more confident and meaningful.
I adapt each lesson according to the student’s learning style and goals. I use demonstrations, structured practice routines, and real song applications to keep lessons engaging.
My unique strength lies in balancing discipline with encouragement. I motivate students to practice consistently and develop expressive playing skills. My goal is to create confident, independent musicians.

I follow a structured and encouraging approach when teaching Saxophone, based on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I first understand each student’s level and musical interests before creating a personalised lesson plan. I focus on breath control, tone development, fingering accuracy, articulation clarity, and rhythm precision.
I maintain open communication so students feel comfortable asking questions. Weekly assignments and practice schedules maintain accountability and discipline. I monitor progress regularly and adjust lessons when necessary.
Integrity means I guide students honestly and focus on building strong fundamentals. Along with Saxophone lessons, I teach Music Theory, Jazz basics, Harmony understanding, and Performance skills to help students become confident musicians.
