My trumpet lessons are designed to provide a complete learning experience for students of all ages and abilities. Whether you are learning the trumpet for the first time or preparing for advanced performances, every lesson is customised to your goals and pace.
Students begin by developing proper posture, breathing, embouchure, articulation, tone quality, rhythm, note reading, and scales before progressing to flexibility exercises, range development, endurance, dynamics, phrasing, sight reading, and musical interpretation. Advanced lessons include orchestral repertoire, jazz improvisation, solo performance, ensemble playing, audition preparation, ear training, and music theory.
My supportive teaching style, personalised feedback, and structured practice plans help students achieve consistent improvement while enjoying every stage of their musical journey.
