About Hari Chand
A Research Fellow at Himalayan Institute of Alternatives Ladakh and Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in industry and academics.
Teaching 10th-grade student in Dehradun with using alternative methods.
Currently working under Mr Sonam Wangchuck in the field of Sustainable Habitat and solution creation for the mountain region (Waste management and water solution). As a process Engineer actively involved in employee training and skill-enhancing , identifying and implementing process (5S, Kaizen, TPM, JH)optimization and control methods to eliminate turn-backs to reduce overall costs. Consistently participates in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives and facilitated several internal quality circles. Conducted six sigma improvement projects under Dr K.Kumar (Director, Maruti Centre for Excellence). Strong project engineering and planning skills with a keen ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

My teaching methodology is slightly different, as I start my topics by connecting it with real-life examples. Maths seems too boring for everyone but it is fun when it can be connected with real solutions.
For real solution, we need real problems and maths can give that chance. Maths is not about imagination, it is a real application and have tangible examples.
Like Matrix in Maths is being used to see the display of any electronic gadgets.
