About Scott
I am an academic who has a thirst for knowledge and a passion for science, engineering, and technology which I hope to pass on. I graduated from the University of Leicester with an undergraduate masters degree (Mchem) in chemistry in 2010. I then went on to complete a Ph.D. in electrochemistry at the University of Southampton in 2017. I presently work as a research fellow at the University of Warwick developing cutting-edge materials for electric vehicle batteries. I have demonstrated at university summer schools and outreach programs explaining complex ideas such as nano-particles to participants aged 9-90. I have been involved in the scouting movement from the age of 7 and continue to help out as a leader whenever I can. I assumed the role of A-level chemistry tutor at Bauhaus Educational Services 2018 - 2019 and have experience of teaching GCSE maths & Science as well as A-level Chemistry.
