About Julian
I am an experienced ex Head of English with a strong track record of pass rates and top grades. I possess excellent subject knowledge with a real love of a range of texts including Shakespeare, the Romantic era, American fiction and all forms of poetry. I have four children of my own and I also foster a young boy and therefore recognise the individual needs of a wide range of learners. I have been a senior examiner for AQA for GCSE English Literature for over thirty years and know the vast majority of texts studied intimately. I loved teaching A Level Literature following the AQA syllabus.
