About Miriam
I have taught grades 2-4 in a private school, children in my home in what I called a home away from home school- from ages 3 - 12, (all subjects), and 10 years as a sociology professor at Georgia State University. Since retiring, about six years ago, I have tutored various students ages 7-11 in my home in math, language arts, social studies, and more (including swimming lessons!) I love teaching people of all ages to tune into their own love of learning.

I have taught students from 3 to 83. I tutor a variety of subjects and work to making learning fun. I help students focus and grasp concepts through tapping into each individual’s unique learning style. I have a knack for leading students to discover hidden reserves in their heads that allow for learning they previously thought unachievable.
