About Charnella
Learning guitar happens best when you can actually hear your own progress week after week. I remember my first time getting a clean tone on a difficult scale and wanting to capture that feeling forever. We focus on rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and reading sheet music to ensure you have a complete foundation.
You will find that I prioritize songwriting and improvisation to keep the creative spark alive. Because I include a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum, you always know what to focus on before we meet again. This keeps your hands moving and your ears sharp during the week.
We navigate the fretboard through patterns rather than just memorization. Expect to play more than we talk.

Strumming a G chord should feel as natural as breathing. I bring 12 years of experience to my practice, blending my formal degree from the Universite de Montreal with the grit of street-level performance. My students range from teens just picking up the instrument to adults refining their improvisational skills. Whether we are tackling tricky barre chords or dissecting the modes, the music stays at the center.
I lean into the traditions of Charlebois, ensuring every student learns to play with actual soul. Playing music with others is the most enjoyable part of this craft.
