I am a friendly, encouraging teacher, always aiming to bring out the best in my students. I love to help guide the future generations of musicians and am enthusiastic that students find the joy in the music they choose to make. I aim to inspire and motivate students to grow into unique and confident musicians.

I approach lessons with an open mind and will aim to plan my lessons to fit students’ individual needs. My lessons will be an opportunity for students to grow into their own unique playing styles and to find the music they love, building confidence as musicians and also in themselves. Having had 16 years of flute lessons, I appreciate how important it is to make lessons enjoyable and varied whilst also giving my students plenty of guidance to support their development as individual musicians. I offer flute and/or piccolo lessons, which can be between 30 minutes to an hour, for any age group. I have experience teaching students 1:1, and have also completed placements in primary schools involving classroom teaching and small groups.
