About Sai Prasad
I am a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, where I pursued Physics with Russian language as the medium of instruction. For this I was trained in the Russian language up to level B2. When I lived in Moscow, I had daily interaction in Russian language with my teachers, friends, colleagues, shopkeepers, doctors and everyone else. I often encountered surprising similarities to Sanskrit and other Indian languages. I learnt several complicated words, only to realise later that most of them can be beautifully broken down into simpler root words and prefixes. I would like to take you through the beautiful experience of learning the language as a foreigner.

Our course begins with training on the basic sounds of the language. For this, you shall be taught about techniques of placement of the tongue inside your mouth, to produce sounds that aren't part of your native language. We shall also look into words and phrases while you're still mastering the sounds. Then, our focus shifts on grammar. The Russian grammar has a complex, yet well defined structure. We'll practise many examples for each grammatical concept to ensure that you can speak with a natural flow. These will be complemented by reading, speaking and listening sessions. By the end of the course, you will be comfortable to read and have conversations in Russian.
