About Alexandra
I absolutely love to scrutinize the ways languages work and look for their similarities, dissimilarities, peculiarities and all the rest that makes them so exciting to learn at all levels. In my classes I try to fuel the students with my passion to my mother tongue, so I can assure you that apart from standard grammar exercises and communication practice I’ll provide original and creative materials for studying from memes to classic literature. A little more about me: -I hold a degree in linguistics -Have a teaching experience of more than 8 years -Volunteered as a Russian-English interpreter for FIFA multiple times -Worked as a freelance translator

My primary method is to combine grammar exercises with vocabulary training and pronunciation practice in order to keep a steady progress in reading, listening, speaking and writing at the same time.
I use materials from various sources (student books, newspapers, movies) and I always adapt them according to my students’ level.
I enjoy listening to my students sharing their experience and always make sure that they are comfortable in my classes. I’m looking forward to be your guide to Russian language, literature, traditions, cuisine and many other things that we will explore together!
