RWCMD graduate teaching piano, improvisation, composition and music theory in and around Cardiff.

Charlie has been teaching me for the last six months and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Charlie is hugely knowledgeable, endlessly patient and knows how to make learning fun.

We hired Charlie to teach our 2 sons piano and he has been fantastic. Extremely patient, thoroughly polite and with a huge talent and enthusiasm for his music. He has a relaxed teaching style that really works. I can highly recommend Charlie as a tutor!

I've had 7 jazz piano lessons with Charlie, and he has consistently been kind, patient and knowledgeable. I've learned a lot, and know that he'll be teaching me a lot more. Thank you, Charlie! :)

Charlie is a very kind and extremely patient teacher. He puts thought and care into his lessons. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a piano tutor.

Charloe is an extremely talented and knowledgeable musician. An all-round amazing pianist and an inspirational jazz improviser and composer. I've known Charlie literally all his life and he's one of the nicest and kindest people I've ever known. If Charlie was teaching in my part of the country, I wouldn't hesitate to offer him employment.

Charlie is a highly accomplished musician and composer. He is totally reliable patient and inspirational

Charlie helped me with my A Level composition, he was encouraging about my ideas and gave me helpful feedback and suggestions. He explained the theory behind musical choices and a clear way, stayed patient and I learnt a lot from him.

Charlie is an excellent teacher who is very supportive for all students, those who are either new to piano, or those who have been playing for a long time. He has excellent jazz harmony knowledge and a lot of professional playing experience in many different styles. He truly is an inspiring young man to have as a teacher!
