About Woolley
I am a professional gigging Sax & Flute player.
I have played for over 10 years and studied (BA) Jazz at
Leeds Conservatoire.
I play with a verity of bands in the Leeds / uk music scene, gigging all across the country at various venues, weddings and festivals (glastonbury, boom town, we out here, shambala etc.)

Together we can craft your sound, develop a rock-solid technique, play your favourite tunes and learn the art of spontaneous improvisation!
I aim to teach applicable theory and have my students understanding the building blocks of music and improvisation, helping build a sturdy foundation to support you as you continue to grow as a musician.
Learning to play should be fun! With my style of teaching, I want to give you the tools to experiment and make discoveries of your own.
I create personalised lesson plans for each student and will provide you with my own resources for you to work through between lessons. Always leaving you with something to work on and a giving a clear direction for progress.
I’m Looking to work with students from total beginners up to intermediate and advanced players of any age. Aiming to host a friendly and relaxed vibe in lessons. No one wants a mean tutor!
Preferably students based in Leeds or nearby, long travel may result in a higher price per session. Equally, students who live really close I’d be happy to negotiate a slightly lower fee :)
