About Luke
I am currently teaching at a 11-18 high school in the Leicestershire area. I am focused on driving my students to achieve the best they can with their time at school.
I often try to make their lessons as fun and as interactive as possible to encourage their learning and to make them want to learn.
I encourage all students I teach to be independent learners and to strive to discover knowledge on their own. I believe its best when I act as a facilitator whilst they discover knowledge on their own. Following which I can help them apply that knowledge in response to questions.

My teaching is very much focused on exam technique and exam question answering. The tutoring would consist of me finding the gaps in your knowledge and helping you to learn the missing content and then to apply that knowledge in exam-style questions. following this, I would then focus on exam techniques and learning how to answer different styles of questions.
The typical length of one lesson would be 1hr but this can be extended or shortened.
My experience as a tutor has been mainly as a Biology teacher but I have also done work as a Maths tutor.
The lessons can be pitched for either KS3, GCSE or A-level.
