¿Te gustaría aprender o practicar español en 2025? ¡Anímate! ¡Empecemos!
Whether you want to learn Spanish, have conversation classes in Spanish or bring these Spanish sentences up, I can help you. Learning a language is about building a foundation and internalizing the mechanics of the language while applying a language is about achieving communication and comprehension in meaningful, often spontaneous, situations. In both cases they need to have objectives, a didactic approach, and a structure.
For instance: learning might involve practicing verb conjugations (e.g., "hablar" vs."hablo"), while applying might involve using those conjugations to give directions or tell a story in Spanish. Both are essential but serve different stages in language mastery.
Based on my experience learning a second language, what makes us fluent is the repetition and integration of concepts in a dynamic and motivated way, unlocking patterns of communication.

THE LESSONS are focused on Levels A and B. Every topic combines a cultural aspect through descriptions of a country/community and its traditions. I have a particular focus on traveling, providing conversation time to prepare the students to travel. THE LESSONS CHARACTERISTICS: are engaging, practical, and tailored to the learner's goals and level. One-hour lesson covers the following: 1. Warm-Up (5-10 minutes) - Activate prior knowledge with a casual conversation or small talk. - Quick review of previous material with a game or quiz. 2. Objective Setting (2-3 minutes) - To state what the student will learn (e.g., "Today, we'll practice using past tense verbs to describe weekend activities"). - To connect the objective to real-life use cases. 3. Input/Introduction (10-15 minutes) - To introduce new vocabulary or grammar with examples. - To use visuals, real-life examples, or stories to make it relatable. 4. Guided Practice (15-20 minutes) - Activities: - Complete fill-in-the-blank exercises or sentence creation tasks. - Role-play dialogues with the teacher. - Incorporate Real-Life Scenarios: to make lessons practical and relevant to the learner’s interests or needs with apps, videos, or online activities. The goal is to help students apply the lesson in spontaneous ways. 5. Cool Down/Wrap-Up (5-10 minutes) - Review: to summarize key points and answer any questions. - Reflection: to encourage students to share what they found easy or challenging. - Homework: to assign a task that reinforces the day’s lesson (e.g., writing a short paragraph, recording a voice note, or practicing vocabulary). - Feedback: to offer constructive feedback with encouragement.
