About Imogen
I am 21 years old and have just completed my second year of studying English Literature at Durham University. I achieved a First in my Year 1 exams. I live in Oxfordshire. I am DBS checked (can provide a certificate on request). I tutored GCSE English for a school-boy during his first and second year of GCSE work. We had sessions twice a week for 6 months and then worked on an online basis when I went to university. I also tutored an A level girl in her English coursework, and I worked at a school in Malawi for 1 month, teaching English classes and working with children on a 1:1 basis during library lessons.

I'll ascertain clearly on meeting a student what their aims are and what learning methods best suit them. I thoroughly plan lessons before-hand so that we can tackle a task/aim each session. I like to provide variety during a session to sustain engagement - using both collaborative tasks and solo-work which we can then discuss after. Overall, I remain patient, kind, and encouraging.
