About Scarlet
I am a second-year student at Havant College, predicted all As in English Language and Literature, Film Studies and Classical Civilisations. I have a profound love for English outside of college- I have entered and won several writing competitions in recent years- and am planning on continuing my passion for creative writing at university. I am hoping to share my fondness of English to students to help them with their knowledge of Language and Literature.

I am extremely versatile in my teaching and I am able to tailor my lessons for the students’ benefit- for example, I can adapt to visual, verbal and text-based learners through an array of different teaching techniques, depending on the student. I firmly believe that teaching should be personal to each students’ preferred learning methods in order to maximise lesson-time and the general enjoyment of learning. I also encourage focusing on particular topics within the students’ curriculum that the student struggles with to enable an all-round understanding and confidence with tackling the subject in school.
