I consider my teaching method to be more interactive, which means that there will be more interactions between me and my students so that I can ensure that my students can keep up with others and have a clear understanding of the contents that have been demonstrated.
I also encourage my students to be creative and innovative where they are allowed to "make mistakes" by creating things based on their comprehension of what they have already obtained. It is one of the most significant ways to improve as daring to make mistakes makes it faster to learn.
I am Chinese and I grow up in China. I have been living in Scotland for two years so far. I major in English Language and Linguistics and I took English Literature and Spanish in the first academic year. I became a student in University of St. Andrews in 2017 and spent one year completing my foundation year before I went for an undergraduate degree in University of Glasgow.
As I am a full-time student in the university, hopefully the travelling distance won't go beyond 3 miles.
I am currently studying English Language and Linguistics in University of Glasgow. As a sophomore, I have gained much knowledge of English as a language. More importantly, as a native Chinese speaker, I have confidence in my ability to delivery the knowledge of Chinese to other students whose native language is English.
I've got A5 (Excellent) for English Language and Linguistics and A4 (Excellent) for Spanish in the first academic year. It perfectly proves that my academic studies in languages are in the right direction and I'll ensure that my students can benefit from my experience of language learning, including Chinese.
