During the first lesson I create a baseline to identify the student's academic level and learning difficulties - if any. This is done during a conversation with the student. I never judge a student and my goal is to build up the student's confidence so that he or she will not only be able to pass his/hers next exam but will also find it easier to learn new subjects.
I am a qualified secondary school teacher. I earned my Master degree in theoretical physics in 2010 and my teacher qualification in 2011. I have worked as a tutor and/or a teacher since September 2010, excerpt when I was on maturnity leave.
