About Charlotte
My name is Charlotte, and I spent four fantastic years completing a double English major at the University of Toronto in Canada. After graduating, I moved back to the UK and spent a year working as an Au Pair in London for two lovely primary school aged students. With the outbreak of Covid, I found myself home schooling, and realised how much I enjoyed it, and ultimately chose to pursue it when my year with them ended, moving to Chester to complete my PGCE. Teaching is a genuine passion of mine that I adore, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to teach the subject that I love as well!

I take an adaptive route to teaching in which the main goal is to achieve the marks that you personally are aiming for. I currently teach bottom up to top set, and ensure that all students know that they are capable of achieving high marks regardless of placement. Additionally, I am happy to familiarise myself with techniques being taught in school in order to avoid confusion. I am entering into my sixth year of teaching, and have taught in both the Welsh and English school systems, but am most familiar with the AQA exam board. While I am happy to provide tutoring for any secondary age students, I specialise in GCSE preparation.
