Hi, I am a Chinese international student, but speaks fluent English with no accents and I aim to help any students who are struggling with maths and sciences within my capability. I am confident in understanding all materials covered in the courses and hope to patiently teach others.
The structure of an average lesson:
1. The student first tell me what he/she is struggling in
2. He/she does some questions live
3. I look over the workings and slowly work through the problem
4. He/She then work through it themselves
5. Rephrase the same type of question to show his/her true understanding
6. some more exercises
(I can prepare materials, but you must tell one day beforehand, or I will assume you are bringing your own)
I have not had any paying tutoring jobs yet, but I do have experience in helping my friends covering the courses and managed to raise her results by 20% in physics and many of my friends ask me on Maths problems, none of which I did not manage to solve.
I may charge extra depending on the level of education and preparation material, however it will not exceed 18 pounds
In UKMT Maths Challenge, I obtained 4 gold awards in a row and last time I qualified for the kangaroo round.
For the Maclaurin Olympiad, I received a high merit.
