About Haziqah
Hi! I’m Haziqah, a final-year History Education student who is currently doing my teaching practical at school. I’ve always loved History, and I enjoy sharing that interest with others. During my free time, I’d love to do something I’m passionate about, which is teaching and helping students understand Sejarah better. I know Sejarah can sometimes feel like a lot of facts and things to remember. But honestly, I believe it can be really interesting when you actually understand the story behind it. That’s what I hope to bring into my lessons. My goal is simple — to help students understand Sejarah, feel more confident, and hopefully learn to love the subject the way I do.

My tutoring approach focuses on making Sejarah simple, engaging and easier for students to understand and remember. I use clear explanations, mind maps, visual materials, discussion, questioning techniques and exam-style exercises to help students understand historical events rather than simply memorizing facts. I also adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s level, learning pace and areas of difficulty.
A typical lesson lasts around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s needs and level. Each lesson will include an explanation of the topic, guided practice and a short review to make sure the student understands what has been taught.
I am a History Education student with experience in teaching and conducting classroom activities during my school teaching practice. This has helped me develop skills in lesson planning, classroom communication and adapting lessons to different students’ learning needs.
My lessons are suitable for Form 1 to Form 4 students who want to strengthen their understanding of Sejarah, improve their answering techniques, prepare for examinations or gain more confidence in the subject. All lessons are conducted online for convenient and flexible learning.
