About Bogdan

Hi! My name is Bogdan. I am a native speaker of Russian. The fact that you are watching this video means that you already know how widespread the Russian language is and what opportunities will open up to you when you master Russian. Language is not only a subject for study, but also a living soul of people, a repository of its history, memory, culture. As a native speaker, I have a huge wealth of knowledge of the Russian language and culture, which I will be happy to share with you. I will be glad to become your guide of knowledge in the world of the Russian language.
Of course, we seek to speak only Russian in the classroom, but if there are difficulties with understanding, I use English or Chinese as an intermediary language.
The main purpose of language is communication. And it is the ability to speak and express your thoughts that I teach my students in the language that is not native to them. During the lessons, I use a lot of modern audio, video, and photographic materials from real life situations so that a student could get to know our culture as much as possible and apply the knowledge gained in practice.
I don't make empty promises that you will learn Russian in six months or a year, because language is very multifaceted, and its study is a continuous process. The joint task of the teacher and the student is to make this process interesting and exciting. I will be happy to become your faithful assistant and motivator on the way to comprehending the Russian language. I am sure that together, step by step, we will reach the goal. See you in class!

Hi! I'm from Russia. I am a lawyer by profession, but I am also engaged in teaching. I like studying foreign languages myself, as well as teaching my native language – Russian. I am also into chess. So in our free time we can play some games :) I am interested in politics and culture of different countries, and also like to talk about a variety of topics, whether it’s art or economics.
In my classes you will learn a lot about culture of Russia and peculiarities of the Russian language, which are not written in textbooks. I use a large number of resources: videos from the most popular Russian films and TV series, news articles, puzzles, memes, interactive games and much more.
I know how to inspire others and enjoy what I do myself, and my students’ success is the main driving force of my activity. I listen to my students and always take their opinions into account. After all, mutual trust between a student and a teacher is the key to success. I select materials based on the students' requests. Studying with me, you will find out what a personal approach is.
