About Benedict
I have worked a broad range of industries including zookeeping, tropical conservation, teaching, pub management and retail however music has been my constant since I was a child.
I am completely self taught on a range of conventional instruments and recording software, currently releasing original songs and instrumental tracks and would like to share the secrets to effective songwriting and composition with like minded, aspiring musicians.

My sessions will be a mixture of theory and practical work, exploring the structure of songs from both rhythmic, musical and lyrical perspectives across a range of genres from classical through to the chart toppers of today and everything in between.
If the student wants to focus on some genres specifically then the knowledge drawn from the theory will be applied practically to the genres(s) of choice.
Lyrically, I will teach what I have learned about structuring, rhyming and syllabic rhythm and help the student to write their own songs using everything they have learned.
