Every learner is unique, and that's exactly how I approach my lessons. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all method, I take time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, interests and learning style before designing personalised sessions that help them thrive academically and emotionally.
With over nine years of experience as a Qualified Teacher (QTS), SENCO, Trust SEND Lead across five schools, I specialise in supporting learners with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, speech and language needs, anxiety and other SEND profiles. I also provide support for GCSE English, Spanish (all levels), study skills, executive functioning and confidence building.
My teaching combines evidence-based approaches including multisensory learning, scaffolding, retrieval practice, adaptive teaching, and coaching techniques. I believe that students learn best when they feel understood, challenged at the right level, and confident enough to make mistakes. My goal is not just to improve grades but to develop independent learners who believe in their own potential.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although I also offer 45- or 90-minute sessions depending on the learner's age and needs.
I work with:
Children in Primary and Secondary Education
Students with SEND and neurodiverse learners
GCSE English students
Spanish learners (children, teenagers and adults)
Parents looking for SEND guidance and educational coaching
