About Rebecca
I support other adults by modelling inclusive SEND practice and providing clear guidance. This includes explaining the why behind strategies, not just the what, so staff feel confident adapting lessons appropriately. I share clear lesson structures, routines, and expectations I explain how to differentiate tasks without lowering expectations I model the use of visual aids, prompts, and scaffolding I support adults to recognise and respond to sensory, emotional, and communication needs I encourage reflective practice and flexibility rather than rigid delivery

deliver inclusive, learner-centred lessons for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). My lessons are carefully structured, flexible, and adapted to meet individual needs. They focus on supporting communication, emotional regulation, independence, and confidence, alongside academic or life-skills learning. Teaching is broken into small, manageable steps, with clear routines and visual support where needed. Lessons are practical, engaging, and responsive, allowing learners to progress at their own pace. I use a calm, supportive approach that prioritises safety, trust, and positive relationships. I adapt teaching strategies to suit a wide range of needs, including: Autism ADHD Speech, language and communication needs Social, emotional and mental health needs Moderate to complex learning difficulties Progress is measured not only academically, but through engagement, communication, emotional development, and independence.
