About Sohaib
I am a senior commercial leader with 18+ years of international business experience across energy, SaaS and industrial technology — but my most important qualification for coaching is my own journey.
I started my career as a Chemical Engineer in Canada before transitioning into senior commercial roles at global organisations including Honeywell UOP, where I delivered $8M USD in annual revenue across 14 countries. I then led the full commercial development of an early-stage SaaS venture, securing £450k SEIS/EIS investment, before founding my own commercial advisory practice delivering 82% YoY revenue growth for clients.
That journey — from engineer to global commercial director to entrepreneur — taught me more about career strategy, professional transitions, leadership and pitching than any textbook ever could. I have navigated career changes, interviewed for senior roles, hired professionals at all levels, worked with executive headhunters and built businesses from zero. I understand the challenges you are facing because I have faced them myself.
I hold a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and am professionally trained in Miller Heiman Strategic Selling and Richardson Consultative Selling — world-class commercial and negotiation methodologies.
I am passionate about helping ambitious professionals unlock their potential, communicate their value with confidence and achieve the career outcomes they deserve. My coaching style is warm, direct and honest — I will tell you what is working, what needs to change and exactly how to fix it.

- Professional Transition: Navigating a career change is one of the most challenging things a professional can do. I help you identify transferable skills, reframe your experience and position yourself credibly in a new sector or function — drawing on my own successful transition from Chemical Engineer to Global Commercial Director.
- Leadership Development: Build the commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills and executive presence needed to step up into senior leadership. Learn how to influence at board level, manage complex stakeholder environments and lead high-performing commercial teams.
- Investor Pitching: Prepare compelling investor pitches and business cases that secure funding. I have personally secured £450k SEIS/EIS investment — I know what investors look for and how to structure a narrative that moves them to act.
