About Sharon
- What kind of experience do you have?
Having taught in primary education for over seventeen years, the last 12 as deputy head teacher, I have a record of outstanding practice in the classroom, a thorough knowledge of assessment and a firm yet flexible focus on helping children and young people achieve the best that they can be.
Where relevant, I work alongside schools, in a supportive and communicative manner to ensure wrap around education is provided for the child.

I charge £25 per hour for tuition in my home.
- Where do you teach?
Tutoring sessions take place in my home where I am surrounded by the most effective resources to adapt to any learning opportunity as it arises – planned and spontaneous!
Located within the BH6 postcode area of Bournemouth, in Dorset. I am easily reached by car, bus or foot if you are local to the area.
- When are you available?
My availability is mainly for after school time, and Saturdays. I can also offer some day time slots where this is relevant.

As a mother of two adult children and now two amazing grandchildren, learning and a passion for child development remains central to my holistic approach to education.
