I'm Shikin, a native speaker of Mandarin hailing from northwest China. After relocating to the UK in 2019, I am currently residing in Argentina.

About Shiki
I'm Shikin, and I am currently residing in Argentina. Tango dancing and engaging in outdoor sports are some of my interests. I have also actively participated in wildlife conservation programmes in Zimbabwe and marine life conservation programmes in Mozambique.
To me, travelling is not merely being a tourist; it involves immersing oneself in local life and experiencing nature and cultures firsthand. I enjoy connecting with individuals I encounter on my journeys, as they are my mentors or influencers somehow.
Through teaching Chinese, I aim not only to help students learn the language but also to spread awareness of Chinese culture to a broader audience.

While pursuing my undergraduate studies, I volunteered in Bali as an English and Math instructor for primary school pupils. Concurrently, I worked part-time for two years in Beijing, teaching physics in a primary school.
My approach involved assessing each student's language proficiency and needs and employing a combination of Chinese and English to teach effectively. I am enthusiastic about imparting language skills and cultural knowledge. I am eager to assist more individuals in learning this exquisite language.
