About Kumar
I have extensive knowledge of mathematics. I have acquired the knowledge and skills to teach learners effectively. I have 18 years of vast practice in of geometry, statistics, algebra, arithmetic and calculus, trigonometry. I can confidently explain all the mathematical concepts to my students and solve equations easily. I have all the answers at my fingertips and can help students solve problems instantly.
I do not force students to follow my approach. Neither I assume that I know everything to the point they ignore any form of correction. Instead, I act as facilitators, allowing the students to offer suggestions and solve problems differently on their own. In case a student is unable to solve a problem, I do not allow them to quit. I work with such students and give them the motivation to identify where they went wrong and keep working on the problem until they find the right answer. I also provide the right guidance and support where necessary.
I know that I am not perfect. So I constantly read new materials to update my knowledge base. I always study and go through new things/questions/problems to gain more confidence in the classroom. I learn about a new mathematical concept, I let all the students know about it, leading to effective learning and better grades.
Apart from teaching theories I focus not only on the content being taught but I also on the students. I keep caring attitude towards my students and I always ready to support those who are having problems. These problems could be due to emotional distress, learning difficulties or illnesses. I pay attention when a student is having a bad day or needs some encouragement. I also understand that sometimes unforeseen problems can derail students from completing their homework on time. In such cases, I offer second chances when necessary and take some extra time to help such students catch up with the rest.
I also help and guide for carear counciling.
