I’m a ComSci student giving guidance in math heavy subjects because that’s the nature of my degree. I used to find math tough as well but I realised that practice , patience and due diligence can get nearly anyone to understand math.

I like to prepare material in advance and have a lecture styled approach. Starting from a simple example and slowly making the example connect to more generalised cases. Teaching the student how to break down abstract concepts so that they can eventually teach themselves.
