Descended from a music family. Right from my grandfather Sangilimuthu, through my mother Danalakshmi. Learned Carnatic vocals from Sri Manikandan, Thiruvanaikovil. Later from V.V. Natarajan. (All India Radio artist, Trichy. Light music singer in orchestras, Trichy. Sung in Sun TV, Jaya TV, Kalaignar TV.
